John think that was slightly wrong it was Alan Johnson the Home secretary who came, as he then came on to Buckland for a visit to meet some of the local residents and talk about crime and anti social behaviour.

It was the Home Secretary the Rt Hon Alan Johnson MP who visited today. A very pleasant chap. We will be getting a story and pic on the frontpage soon.
(If the other guys came then they sure kept it quiet.)

apparently mr johnson is very hot on the subject of anti social behaviour, he was brought up on a council estate and his family suffered from it.

On Meridian TV this evening, he was saying that illegal immigrants have ceased coming in at Dover, so that's O.K. then. Have they all gone back home from Calais

Alan Johnson was also in Dover and he went upto the Buckland estate,the other 3 came by HS1 and were met by Gwyn.

Yes I was talking about Alan Johnson Howard; he has more charisma than Gordon Brown, but seems to be as slippery as Tony Blair.
If there wasn't a problem with illegal immigrants, then all those in Calais would go home, but they ALL want to get to Britain.
As he is so hot on Anti-Social Behaviour, perhaps he may allow stiffer sentencing and make it less difficult to stop it.

So we had visits from all these all singing and dancing MPS yesterday .What a great pity that they did not visit Gwyns office perhaps then a bit of pressure could be put on to sort out that railway bridge .
The problems it causes when the bridge is hit is horrific .Im going to the press this morning .

i have spies everywhere roger.
not made my mind up yet about mr johnson, maybe he will resurface in a higher position after the next election assuming the opinion polls are correct?
like most here i am cynical about all the bigwigs appearing so close to an election.
