Sadly its going to be sold only in Wetherspoons.... so Peter can't get hold of some, I won't be changing my local to try it! (must pop in soon Peter - now I am better!)
Wetherspoons' chairman Tim Martin says:

Just goes to show the alignment of Wetherspoons and their political/walton walmart outlook!
Firstly: the fact that this 'ale/policies' should be exclusive to 'wetherspoons/the elite'. Secondly: the idea that the 'high street leader/ruling class'' should dictate to the 'drinkers/masses'
It really is a sad reality of modernity.

a friend of mine frequented a pub close by for many years dating back to when he was an underage drinker.

Try reading on SKY News about Dave's New Year speech promissing that the games and the diamond jubilee will get Britain back on track. He's referring to the Olympic games and the royal barge set to float down the Thames.
The comments that came out from the readers are full of scorn. It was the biggest real-time joke in British history.

The whole platea, after the initial shock, roared with laughter. They had sussed him out.
