Obviously it is of concern that ASDA have withdrawn, a sign of the economic times that this country is in.
What is of concern is the length of time resolving some of the existing property/land issues and if there is to be critisism then this must be placed on the Planning Dept for a lack of speed to resolve, other towns /cities have had major redevelopment and I am sure have had similar issues but seem to have resolved quicker.
The positive side is that , I assume,these property/land issues have been resolved and that the sight is on a "green light" to start quickly once a replacement partner for ASDA is found.
On this why not attempt to secure the "White Goods" application that was rejected by the council for its development at White Cliffs Business Park.
Or with adequate parking and easy access to A20/A2 the hospital (I joke).
