I don't like the thought of this lovely old structure being moved out of its in-situ location, but with repeated vandalism what choice is left? The shelter is the sole surviving Dover Corporation tram shelter and it would be a pity for it to be left to be destroyed. If money was available, the choice is if you'd rather leave a vandalised wreck in it's original location or have it moved and be protected and cared for.
I've just discovered that the shelter is Grade II listed (Ref: 1070298) under the Planning (Listed Buildings and Conservation Areas) Act 1990. That may complicate any chance of removal.
