Ofgem? Who are.....Oh! you mean Ofgem. Yes the quango who on their website proudly boast.....now wait for it.......who
are "Making a positive difference to energy consumers".
    That Ofgem. Of course.
Shouldn't that read " Positively indifferent to those energy consumers who have seen their bills double heh, heh, heh."
As helpful as a chocolate fireguard on a moped or something like that.
Pay no attention to those fools, Howard. Whatever they say you can disregard as being as pointless as Daves' slogan "The greenest government" etc. More like the greenest Prime minister since John Major methinks.

Bills certainly will not drop even if fracking is undertaken or not. Over the next few years bills will definitely rise because of utopian low carbon economy nonsense to the tune of extra hundreds of pounds a year for the average consumer.
The point is that by producing gas from fracking it will likely have a profound effect on our GDP and mean that we won't be as reliant on other countries to supply fuel. Hopefully there will be enough to sell as well.
Sadly the restrictions imposed on fracking mean that I'm not to hopeful that widespread use of this fuel will manifest itself.
Under current restrictions if a leaf falls off a tree during the fracking process that particular field will be forced to shut down until it's considered "safe" to do so.
