Do your comments mean Dover will have the Spouting Fountains such as the
very successful ones by Folkestone Harbour,
donated by The Folkestone Harbour Company ?
These are a great success for everyone, and they are fun, no washing up liquid or vandels can touch them......
Would be a doing feature for young and old to enjoy, and good for trade etc. etc....
Or they could go down to the Water Front......
Alternatively......the Fountain could go down to the Waterfront,
with the Bandstand
The fountain would be lovely in front of the Public Gardens in front of the Gateway Flats............
The Bandstand would be put to more use, and less vandalism on the Seafront...wonderful attraction....
Spouting Fountains in the Market Square.....they can be switch on and off at will...
I urge you to go to Folkestone on a happy day, and see what fun it is...
This way, a good addition................and nothing is wasted
The Television could go down the end of the Pier
