Repair Cafe Initial Meeting - all welcome
Friday 8th December, 11am in Charlton Centre Café
Are you a potential 'Restarter': A person who likes helping people fix broken electronics or electricals? Can you help with basic electrical fixing involving changing fuses and plugs? Or deal with software issues on laptops and mobiles? Or possibly take on intricate electronics repairs involving soldering? We need about 4 people with these skills to get us started!
At this initial meeting we will talk about ideas for potential partners, locations, funding, advertising, and setting a date for a pilot event. If you are interested in helping keep electrical goods out of landfill and launching a pilot 'repair cafe' event we would love to have you. Don't worry if you don't have any electrical skills - we need all sorts of helpers to get this event off the ground.
