Noisy little devil has been here two days now making a nuisance of itself knocking everything over and making a lot of noise.
On the plus side the mother has stopped attacking me when I take out some water.

Are these pests still on the so called "endangered" list I wonder?
They're certainly "endangered" if they come anywhere near me!

The seagulls have been in Dover longer than any of us, how sad that people want to kill them, but then we are the most vicious animal of the lot.

So have wasps no doubt, don't go much on them either!

They are a pest when there are far too many of them and they become a nuisance. The trouble is they have no natural predators to keep that number down.
The world seems to be made up of people who dislike seagulls and those who love them.

My one has been growing in confidence, yesterday it chased off the two Magpies that visit regularly and then left its calling card on the kitchen floor before making a quick exit and today has been squawking at the cat. The mother seems to have lost interest.

I wonder if he's getting enough food, if the mother is not feeding him any longer (?) We had the same last summer, a baby seagull got stuck on our roof for quite a few weeks, we fed him tinned cat food and lots of water, eventually he flew away once he got stronger, we got quite attached and missed him when he moved out
A clear conscience is the sure sign of a bad memory.

He/she never stops eating the food knocked out of the feeders which surprises me as I thought they normally eat soft stuff previously chewed by the mother. This morning was sharing seed and suet pellets with a young wood pigeon.

Been going on for some time and very difficult for the police to catch the miscreant what with cars parked blocking their view of houses. Danny Amos son of retired councillor Sheila Amos has shown me photos taken on his phone of a shadowy figure outside his house in the early hours.
Much as Danny is a nice bloke I wouldn't like to be in the shoes of the lurker should he decide that the latter has pushed his luck too far.

This one is definitely swinging the lead now, not in the garden early morning on two of the last three days but has worked out unlimited food and water is available free, gratis and for nothing at my place.
