Exactly why the conservative never got a majority government at the last election
The voters see Cameron as just another snake oil salesman like Blair

much as it annoys me that tony blair wants to stop us having a referendum, it is typical of him to act as a prime minister should and set out his stall in a way that says "that is how it is, like it or lump it".

blair was a winner keith, what he said was listened to unlike our dithering leader who checks which way the wind blows before making a decision.
even cleggy would be a better prime minister, he seems to get his own way often enough.

Blair was the Pied Piper who has now been exposed for what he was, a shallow insincere lying charlatan.

And I think you have some sympathy with my point of view, Keith. DC is also on course to earn the same plaudits if he doesn't change his ways.

The problem is that in order to get elected you have to be a shallow insincere lying charlatan but unfortunately those are not the qualities required to do the job.

I think you will find it often works, the problem comes when you think because you have such a big majority no one can touch you(blair and maggie)
