The good councillor Wallace does not unfortunately understand what is proposed (again).
There will be 10,000 printed surveys available in libraries etc + anyone can fill it in on the interweb. So ALL of the public can make their views known if they can be arsed.
In addition there will be a randomised telephone survey, 250 in each district, which as a sample size will, I vaguely remember from the briefing last week, give a 95% confidence of error between +/- 3%.
No, I don't like Stats - viewing it as a sort of scientific guessing, preferring Pure and Applied Maths - but I do at least understand it. Doh!
