  Keith - the economics are more complex than merely the low wages in some countries. You get no argument from me about getting out of the EU and that body adds huge extra costs to our economy with no real significant benefit. You will get an entirely false trade argument from pro-Europeans of course that holds no real water.
  
  You need only to look at the patterns of world trade and manufacturing now to see that we could compete if we did not follow the expensive European socio-economic model of high taxation and government intervention. We need to get away from the destructive drug of high spending governments and allow businesses to compete with the more efficient economies where they do not suffer from big government.
