  'Dufftown', ho-ho-ho, no doubt this makes the list for no mining community was ever fool enough to call their town, "The Pits", though Dufftown has a place in my heart because of Glenlivet malt whisky.
  
  And 'Hackney', gets a mention along with 'London'. Maybe what groups these places together is the wit of their residents?
  Ignorance is bliss, bliss is happiness, I am happy...to draw your attention to the possible connectivity in the foregoing.

  a lot is tongue in cheek judging by entries from chipping norton, stratford upon avon and york.
