  While there does seem to be some wear and tear in the goal-mouth, the single (full sized?) pitch is attractive only to those who can lay their hands on two full teams at a time, and bring their own nets.
  
  I think it is best to encourage youngsters out-and-about, but this must go hand in hand with tolerance from the 'grown-ups'. Less moaning about damage and more joy that the television is not the be-all-and-end-all of childhood.
