    Roger.
I fully understand about why & where the cuts are coming from.

Last year the cost of HB was £10million and DDC was reimbursed that amount.
This year the government will repay 10% less than the amount paid out, leaving DDC with a £1million deficit, on top of all other cuts.

But who is making the decisions, as to who to target first, as to where the cuts are going to be made, Government or DDC?

    Why only council tenants?

Why are genuine Disabled and Vulnerable, the main targets?

This move on council tenants only is because Gov/DDC, want tenants who are couples, to give up their 3 and 2 bedroom homes and obviously they cannot do that to private tenants or house owners. So it is not about reducing the deficit.

Forget the ethics of whether this is right or wrong; it will not work because councils do not have enough properties.

I would consider moving to the right adapted house but there simply is none.

This is just another worthless attack that will end up costing the tax payer more money than it will save and irreparably damage lives in the process.
