Unclaimed premium bond prizes

the reason i started this thread is that we all got premium bonds as birthday/christmas presents from aunts, uncles and grand parents when we were about 10.
the address we lived in then is still on the bond so it is worthwhile checking through the outstanding numbers to see if we can all be as rich as the two barrys. - Jan Higgins

There is always that moment before you open the envelope, could this be the one, the big one, the million!! As you tear back the envelope in eager anticipation of the wealth to come, to a future life in Monte Carlo...it turns out to be £25.
The dreams crash on the floor and splinter like a piece of bone china...and you say to yourself..there is always next time.
By the way, they have dropped the value of the prizes. Those £25 basic wins used to be £50. Thats what the financial markets and the falling value of currency dun for us... its the markets wot dunnit!
