We have a young lad at the shop who is awaiting his GCSE results and in theory is intelligent as he goes to a good school, I will not name it or him just in case his friends get to hear this story.
Because we were all very busy this morning I asked him to drop my prescription into Paydens the chemist for me. First problem he asked where it was even though he must have frequently passed it as he lives fairly near, so I said just up the road and off he went. Came back about 5minutes later looking a bit sheepish and spoke to my colleague, then came over to me.
The young idiot had posted my prescription into the doctors letter box and not taken it into the chemist. The worrying thing to me is does he not know the difference between a chemist and a doctor at the age of 16 or 17.
I must admit that when I got over my astonishment at his mistake all of us had a good laugh, I better add not in his hearing.
