It is time now to think about next years local elections for both the town and the Dover District Council.
First thing to think about are you happy in the way both the councils perform,are they doing the best that they can do for our Town and the District,if that is a no then now is the time to think about how to get change,two ways of doing it (1) Is just vote for a person not a party with local councils I find it better to look at the candidates standing and not the party they are in.
(2) Is to think about being a candidate yourself and you can stand for both the District and town council at the same time.

I must say that I do think we need new faces at both the District and town council,please do not get me wrong we do have some good cllrs on both of them but also we have some that are no good at all. But unless we get more of the public puting up for the job as a cllr than nothing will get done and we end up with the same old faces doing or not doing the same old things. As you know my pet hate is the planning office at the District Council I do not think they are working for our town but unless we get newfaces on the District Council this will carry on.
