Vic, have you tried pointing out that large sectors of British industry that have been closed down and transferred to China, with all the modern British technology involved, are now controlled by the Chinese Communist Party, who have naught in common with free trade, and then export these products to Britain and all over the world? And that the production line that has been closed down in Britain and western Europe and transferred to eastern Europe, namely Poland but also a few others, using all the most modern western technology, is all sponsored by the e.u., which takes tens of billions of pounds/euros from the western economies so as to use this money to pay the factory owners to close down in the West and re-open in the East, and to artificially finance the production in Poland etc. That all this is strictly against free-market policy. I pointed this out to Barry at the beginning of the week, he realised it, and tried to change the subject by stating that I have extreme views that do not benefit the causeI represent. But he knows I'm right there! He sounds more and more like a George Orwell 1984 commissar.
I think that the UKIP could make a very good case by bringing this subject up and informing the people that the e.u. ploicies which labour/tories/libdems all intend to maintain are based on communist and e.u.communist destruction of free trade!
