Not sure if that is a step forward for UKIP there Howard, more a sweating brow observation from the Tories. They are beginning to realise that their re-election prospects are threadbare at best...an added blow is the news today that George Osborne's battle with the economic situation is not currently bearing fruit, seemingly they are now projecting austerity for a lot longer than originally anticipated. There goes the Election ! A confident top of their game Tory Party would never put out feelers like this kind of UKIP alignment. I have a feeling the higher echelons of the Conservative bastions will not be terribly happy, with traditionalists turning in their imaginary graves, with this being made public. Mr Cameron as far as I know has not commented on Fabricant's suggestion.
Nigel Farage...one time guest member of this forum, may even still be, was reported initially to warm to this idea but then it seems later on rubbished it. Havent heard the definitive response as of yet.
Nigel who talks a good fight, especially on Europe, is reportedly to be insisting on a full fledged referendum on the EU before agreeing to any kind of co-operation. Pigs might fly...
