Howard, the meeting certainly has naught to do with cobbling together an alliance with the blues, who are divided between a disguised renegotiation of EU membership by trampling down democracy and denying an in/out referendum, and those other blues who want an in/out referendum.

UKIP have made clear that the campaign is for an all-out exit from the EU, no compromise, no negotiation. However, by way of Democracy, and not by imposing a bogus referendum with only one option.

One thing one can say quite reasonably of UKIP: the party rejects Tyranny and imposed dictatorship.
This is the minimum requirement to support the party, perhaps not the only one, but one of the essential conditions.
The Conservative leadership still rejects Democracy, as it refuses us an in/out referendum on EU membership.
