Angus Reid has now given UKIP the 11% post in the latest major opinion poll, which means the party has consolidated its new position on all notable national polls.
In East Anglia, the party has 21% support among the electorate, and generally its popularity in England is higher than 11%, whereas in Scotland, Northern Ireland and Wales it is lower.
Now considering that Apathy represents well over half the electorate, and that the Tory party is crumbling from within owing to its leadership's "government of the few" policies, UKIP could continue its upward march and effectively replace the Conservative party well before the next General Election.
