The post you are reporting:
It's extremely unlikely that UKIP and the Conservatives will continue challenging each other as time draws near for a General Election.
If they did, they would have to be both master-minded by Keith S and Brian.
Personally I do constructive criticism towards UKIP, not being a member, such as outlining their strategy failures as I see them, but the sort of criticism one could learn from.
Keeping to Dover here, UKIP would do well to understand that they'd need to campaign against standing DDC policies, highlighting the political composition of the DDC Government, and connecting these DDC policies to national Labour and Conservative Government policies past and present.
If UKIP Dover and Deal were to then let themselves be frightened and boohed out of this, on the grounds that "local policies have nothing to do with national parties", UKIP would be just daft to fall for it.
In fact, their opponents would say any rubbbish just to demoralise and frighten them into silence.
NEVER let your political opponents dictate your strategy!
That said, Vic's continual stance that Paul Watkins is the ideal man to be Dover and Deal MP must be a blatant betrayal of UKIP.
But each to their own!
