Nigel Farage tried to make headway is Scotland, but recently, as the Herald Scotland reports, UKIP's leader said that "he had no issue with Scotland deciding its own destiny".
And: "Nigel Farage warned Alex Salmond he would be 'naive in the extreme' to assume the rest of the UK would simply wave through a generous exit package for Scotland in the event of a Yes vote in 2014."
So UKIP do not have the intention to consider England and Scotland as equal constituents of Britain, and if the two Countries separated, would evidently hang on to the rest of Britain and make a money-issue out of a separation within the United Kingdom.
But if the United Kingdom Independence Party represented all the Country it purports to represent, namely the United Kingdom, it would never consider the possibility of taking sides with one part against the other if this Union broke up.
