Having put forward my arguments as suggested in an earlier post, and watched said post sliding down the page, leading me to believe I'm being ignored, I thought I'd do a Daily Mail style take on UKIP, with everything in it easily checked as the posts I am talking about are all on this forum, as is the link to the UKIP website. This is how easy it is to misrepresent the facts, but bear in mind that none of the following are lies. I have chosen UKIP purely because it was Keith Bibby who started the original post in question...here we go.
UKIP TWITTER PAGE SAYS STOP
The UKIP twitter page has a post on it which starts:
'UKIP A ludicrous vanity that must be stopped...'
or how about...
Local UKIP chairman goes back on his word and fails to follow his own advice.
On the 22nd of June, in response to posts on a local forum about whether or not Mr. 'M' was in fact a member of the local branch of UKIP, the local chairman said, 'I will no longer continue this thread'.
The following day, on the same discussion, he said' 'any conflict between ex UKIP members and existing members should be held behind closed doors'
so much for not continuing, then the next day at just before 2 pm, 'you sound very much like ex UKIP member...'
so much for closed doors too, and at just after a quarter past six the same day, '...is no longer a member of UKIP Dover and Deal...'
the following day, just after a quarter past eleven at night,'
...is not a member or treasurer for UKIP Dover and Deal...' and, 'meet the other officers of the branch and see that it does not include...'
Please note, this is not an attack on UKIP or any of its officers, members or supporters, as I hold the party in the same contempt as any other political party, this is just to show how easy it is to put a different version of the 'truth' out there.
