  i did see a burning viking long boat 2 nights ago,but mind you it was on the french side and not ours.

  Back in the 1950's there were lots of UFO visitations. This led to many many mostly black and white Hollywood movies all cashing in on the strange phenomenon. Everyone was lapping it up and welcoming the visitors as they landed in Nevada and Californiae and some say..even Dover. In the cinema at the time Gene Barry in War of the Worlds played to packed houses...as did Michael Rennie in The Day the Earth Stood Still..all great stirring stuff, and of course all totally true and based on factual stories. Gospel.
  
  I mentioned Dover above to prepare you for the following picture..taken in the fifties in full flavour monochrome as was the vogue then, by a well known local citizen as he made his lonely way back from the pub in the quiet lull of the evening..

  looks genuine to me paul, i heard one landed in pencester gardens late on a friday night. the inhabitants decided to have a look around.
  
  once they reached the "roman quay" and saw what was outside they sprinted back to the mother ship and flew off.

  Many of you older people will remember a TV programme called Project UFO it showed the gates of the Wright Patterson Air Force Base in Dayton Ohio,where my friends live in Dayton not the base,had lunch there once and asked my friend 'have you ever seen a ufo or an alien' he just replied why do you think the guards on the gates are doubled at times?????
  
  I think one has landed see the Dr Who post!
  If you knew what I know,we would both be in trouble!

  Vic you may be the chosen one. They are clearly visiting Sanctuary Close from another galaxy and keen to abduct those who they deem to be fountains of knowledge. They may want to know how you welded the Forth Bridge so may have their beady one eye on you. Once they ingest all the knowledge from your brain they may well discard you afterwards onto the scrapheap...so dont tell them everything ! at least not at once..

  I have been given the go-ahead by NASA ..it was all top secret for fear of further alien invasion. Well after all ..strange lights have been seen in the sky over kent and one cant be too careful.The photographer on the spot was none other than Phileas Eyden himself..intrepid battler against otherworldly apparition..real or imagined.
