  Personally I find it strange that those old masts can be object of admiration as a "sky-line" affection to Dovorians. But reading these posts here, I am slowly beginning to realise why tourists rather avoid Dover, 'cause I don't really think people here are touristic minded! Not that it bothers me personaaly, as I am not really touristic minded either, and would rather see Dover dedicated to us, but, I did think that the Councils were trying to promote visitors, and those masts are certainly no tourist attraction! It's a shame that such an uproar should be made to stop the demolishing of three ugly iron colusses, hope they come down very soon!
