A few months back I received from the NHS a questionnaire to fill in and return. It was a poll, and I was selected as one of the proud few.
After ticking the box that I am white British, the last question was what my sexual dispositions are.
It asked if I am this, that, or straight. I ticked straight.
Found an article dated 12 October 2011, of which an extract:
David Cameron's plan to redefine marriage is a "step too far", a Conservative minister has warned.
Gerald Howarth, a defence minister, warned that Conservative MPs should not be made to support the issue if it comes before Parliament.
He added: "I take the view that marriage can only be between a man and a woman."
The article further states: Church leaders have also hit out at the plans to rewrite marriage. The Church of England said marriage is between a man and a woman.
And this too: And Mike Judge, Head of Communications at The Christian Instituite, said: "If marriage can be redefined for homosexuals, why not redefine it for polygamists?
"Given the track record of British Courts interpreting the Human Rights Act, how long would it be before polygamy is legalised in Britain?"
The Roman Catholic Archbishop added his part:
The Roman Catholic Archbishop of Southwark, Peter Smith, said: "Marriage by its very nature is between a man and a woman and it is the essential foundation of family life.
"The state should uphold this common understanding of marriage rather than attempting to change its meaning."
Dave is a nutter!
