It was explained at the meeting last January that there are two reasons for the problem of trucks parking on roads - the lack of suitable facilities, and many drivers not being able to use those facilities because their company wouldn't cover the cost. Until those causes are remedied or more free facilities are made available it will continue to happen, arguments about how posh River is have got nothing to do with it.
For interest, list of attendees at the meeting, all local councils and businesses likely to be affected were invited, notable how few turned up.
