Why is is that young men seem to wear trousers with the crutch down near their knees and old men with the waistband up under their armpits? Shall never the twain meet?

I try to be neutral and polite but it is hard and getting even more difficult at times.

Young men want to be ready for action, old men are struggling to keep them up in defiance of the overhang of their stomachs

It is the most ridiculous fashion though isn't it. Trousers below the bum and only covered by their Y-fronts.
Stupid I call it.
Roger
Just a few words: winklepickers; DAs; drainpipes; sideburns; clogs; culottes; stilettoes; shoelace ties; The Beehive; Puffball skirts. I could go on...........I remember clearly falling off a pair of bile yellow clogs with orange daisy motif (yes, picture that without a migraine!) in the middle of Amersham High Street years ago when I was not yet old enough to know better.......

I appreciate those various fashions, but none of those involved having trousers below the bum though, Bern - did they ?
Roger
That would be telling..............

They do look silly, true. (But then so did I with my pink hair all those years ago!! But I still like pink hair. Sad!!!!) Personally, I could live without seeing their Calvin Kleins. That is not a euphomism either - although if their troosers fall any further down it might be!!
