But wind turbines are not a viable form of energy. You would be better of buying a small diesel generator at your local hardware store and putting an array of those in place of these bird killers. They are not viable.
There is no country in the world where a single power station has closed down in order that wind energy takes it's place.
In Germany, you know that land of environmental utopianists who hate nuclear and all things carbon, they are actually set to build 26 new coal powered power stations. In fact some of the money they are using to build these killers of mankind is coming from a fund formed to fight climate change.
Har har har har. It sounds like a punchline from a second rate stand-up show but it's true.
Actually I do happen to think nuclear power stations to be beautiful and in years to come books will be written about them and their design will be acknowledged by designers as a thing of beauty. Bear in mind that these plants have a very small footprint in terms of the amount of space they take up whereas wind farms go on for miles and miles and miles.
