  Sorry Barry but I couldn't disagree with you more. Laying down markers gets them nowhere. It's rather like complaining behind the bosses back and when he asks what you said you say "Oh nothing, nothing. It's hot today isn't it?"
  Much like their "opposition" to the EU they have missed an ideal opportunity to divorce themselves from all green measures put forward and those which are being carried out. If they had any common sense and backbone they would see the myth of global warming for what it is and say enough is enough.
  Let's face it there are at least 800 government inquiry's going on at the moment from newspaper ethics to Policing to railways and so on and so forth.
  If they had any savvy (which they don't) they would demand an enquiry into whether or not man is warming the planet or not. They haven't because they are running scared.
  I did read Deiter Helm's take on it but what good has that done? Nothing except a few complaints on Conservative home which gets us all absolutely nowhere.
  Ed Davey will never, never, never go against Clegg and if you saw him on the television this morning you will understand this.
  Even when the lights do start going out Cameron and co. will still insist on pursuing these insane policies.
  We are doomed.
