Just been informed that a tree has fallen onto a car on the Coldred Rd into Eythorne and that a fair scattering of debris can be seen on many of our country lanes. Strong gusts are causing problems for ALL on motorways.
Please be carefull if you have to go out.

indeed brian and not just on the roads, just seen on the sea thread that the port is expecting disruption in the next few hours and is asking travellers to keep in contact with their ferry operator.

The weather forecasters are saying we could have to put up with this kind of weather for another couple of weeks.
I certainly cannot remember such awful weather as this going on for so long, thank goodness we have not had it as bad as those poor people in the west.

Just approaching lambing time too, poor farmers have a lot to contend with. I don't take the dog for a walk anymore, we go for a squelch!
