13:3868289Can anyone recommend someone to transfer films to disk? A relative has 2 cinefilm projectors and a load of cinefilm. She is old an would like them translated as cheaply as possible!

13:5268290I`ve got reel`s of super 8 cine to go onto disc David, but haven`t got round to it yet. There is someone in yellow pages up Odo road if they still do it. I`ve had 2 reels of cine film of the paper mill at Dover transferred this year onto disc by the Dover Arts Development group, who had to send it away to Sweden to get a decent copy done! I`ll be trying to find someone soon for mine.
Tell them that I came, and no one answered.

16:5168307The cheapest suggestion I have heard is just project it onto a screen from the cine projector and record with a camcorder...
Been nice knowing you :)

17:5168319I too had heard Jessops were good for this sort of thing. Having still got my wedding day on two reels of cinefilm on the bookshelves in my office I will be interested to know how it goes.
