There's a link to the detailed timetables just published in the article, 57 pages to hunt through to see if your train is still running.

I would guess it's a bribe to keep them working - to not interrupt the games.

I think they're being greedy. They're paid quite well anyway aren't they, and they're only doing the same job.

The use of the domestic service high speed trains for the Olympics should come as no surprise to regular high speed users as this was the stated intention when the trains were ordered several years ago.
It was a major factor influencing the decision to invest in the domestic service high speed trains and that is why they are colloquially referred to as Javelins.

I think it's bloody disgusting. With the ever increasing fares and the number of people living on the breadline I think it's an insult and it makes my blood boil.
Maybe as the wife of a retired train driver I shouldn't say that but it's how I feel

There's always a little truth behind every "Just kidding", a little emotion behind every "I don't care" and a little pain behind every "I'm ok".

I'v watched it all develope one section after another, being paid vast sums just to do the same job.
i travelled up with a guy the other day who works in st pancras, he said he cant believe hes being paid so much for just doing the same job.
