First knew of this when I boarded the bus to Folkestone and the driver explained that Capel was closed so there would be a diversion. he told this to everyone as they got on, there were a few murmurs of discontent. On the way back a person at Folkestone bus station demanded to know why the road was still closed 4 hours after the accident. I thought to myself that poor motor cyclist would be overjoyed to be alive and inconvenienced for 10 minutes.

It's the problem of getting the accident investigation teams along to do their stuff. Unlike the 'good old days' when everything would have been shifted out of the way as soon as possible and the road re-opened.

It is only right that the area is sealed off until the Accident Investigation Unit have done their bit. This young lad is being mourned by parents, grandparents, possibly a girlfriend and siblings. The driver of the van must be distraught and if his/her name is cleared of wrongdoing life can be restarted in time.

My son started out with a moped but has now moved on to cars which i,m glad of.I still ride ocassionaly but you have to be so careful out there with the way some people drive. Its a terrible shame especially at such a young age.
