we complain about traffic congestion in our town and city centres, this puts our problems in the shade.

The only thing the poor train driver can do shut his eyes and slam on the brakes, a bit like when someone jumps off a road bridge, it is not only the family that have to deal with the aftermath of suicides. A very sad situation all round.

A friend has had 2 jumpers in his career - the latest earlier this year in broad daylight and saw the whole thing as the person taunted him, must be horrible to experience

Been nice knowing you :)

i know someone that joined the london underground as a guard and a young man messing around with his mates went under the wheels of a central line train right in front of her on her second day in the job.
