I bought one of the Tesco heaters. I worked very well for about four hours then failed completely. I checked the fuse which was OK so, having unfortunately discarded the till receipt, I thought that was it.
On seeing Paul's posting I phoned the Tesco helpline (five options - none of which apply - hold for an operator - here we go (yawn) - not so! - instant response!

). A very helpful lady called Laura checked my postcode and the product, informing me that they can identify it as one of their lines by a Tesco sticker on the back, and even without the till receipt Tesco would reimburse in full.
Tesco Clubcard customers (I am not) are informed of recalls by E-Mail or post.
We will see how it goes from here .....
