  my understanding is that just a few vote grabbing "community leaders" started the campaign.
  
  andrew suggests deal seafront, reasonable thing there, so many miners moved there from defunct mining areas
  and made their homes in that town.
  
  if we do have to lose it, then deal would be a good home.
