    Work - yes, about 90 hours a week (70 of which are spent running my own business, the rest on voluntary community activity). Just finished dealing with New Zealand ports this morning and will start with the Americans in 10 minutes when they've finished their morning meetings.

    Hate? No. But 20 years plus of apparently unchecked decline and dereliction perpetuated by shining, but undelivered, promises breeds a certain level of cynicism.

    Also accountable to my paying global clients.

    If Ely and Margate have well maintained black street furniture - good for them. Dover's black stuff was tatty, Dover Town Council's decision for blue is positive and smart, also now well maintained, so, good for Dover.
