Am I correct in saying there is over £1 million in cash reserves, somewhere, presumably gaining a healthy interest whilst austerity is being used as the prime ploy to refuse any investment in the growth or improvement of the town? It certainly seems rather over the top but my nearest neighbour insists to talk about it whenever our paths cross whilst out walking our respective dogs. Why also, is there a loan of £350,000, costing £18,000/ year in interest to the tax payer with that money in the bank? It goes over my head I am ashamed to say but as it is "our money", do we have a say on the matter? Politics, certainly not simple. Thank you for your patience Howard and Vic and for the answers.
