If I was younger, I would be biting at the bit so to speak at Alexanders idea, a young mother sitting at home, with a sewing machine just standing there as an ornament, could be running up some clothes designed by local school children (secondary schools or further education schools), I have an industrial sewing machine and would have willingly have put myself forward in my younger days, I worked at home, for a pittance when my children were small. But out of that came a couple of large orders which were needed for a specific time, my Niece and I worked as a team, those orders were completed, and very soon we were taken orders of our own, so it can be done with a bit of committment, and hard graft.
