I would like to extend an invitation to all members the forum to the Annual General Meeting of the Dover Town Team
which is being held on Monday 7 September 2015 at The Dover Marina Hotel at 6.00pm.
The meeting is open to everyone, but as well as conducting the usual AGM business, we have a guest speaker, Dieter Jaenicke, who is the Chairman and Founder of Viking Recruitment and responsible for the building of the new Marine Skills Academy at Whitfield. He will be speaking about it and the new commercial opportunities that it will bring to Dover.
Teas coffee and refreshments will be served after the meeting.

Quite a lot I would have thought when you think of those that live in the town.....possible future employment at sea for a start.

I try to be neutral and polite but it is hard and getting even more difficult at times.

There is always a blurring of the lines in these things, for example the "Big Local" dosh is supposed to go to the poorer parts of towns and cities that have previously been neglected but in the case of Dover the Priory part is not included but affluent parts of Castle ward are.

These are ward summaries, further data mining to street level explains the Big Local spread.
