Town gridlocked.

  What is happening in Dover today,just got home,took me 30 minutes to get from Elms vale to bottom of Folkestone road.I had to go to the sea front,it was impossible,both lanes of townwall street were blocked,once i got to york street roundabout i thought it would be easier but it got worse.I gave up and went home and it took ages to get through town.If i hadnt made some shortcuts i would probably still be there now.Its times like this that i wish i still had my scooter.Seems its all around town,whats going on?

  There's been a strike in Calais today. Probably to do with that?

  seems that trucks were queing coming from the docks towards Aycliffe roundabout instead of the other way round which was unusual and the town was a joke.I havent seen it that bad in ages.

  Folkestone road was gridlocked late afternoon by people trying different routes

  The contraflow (due to EDF works) at the bottom of Tower Hamlets isn't helping the High Street traffic either.

  The queues in Folkestone Road went up as far as the Plough. Pleased it was cleared by the time I came back in the evening.
