Next time you are not sure about one of your local councillors consider this from the latest issue of the Fortean Times.
"A Labour politician has stunned his town council colleagues by claiming his 'real mother' is a green alien. Councillor Simon Parkes, who was elected in February to represent Stakesby ward on Whitby Town Council, said although he has had hundreds of close encounters with extraterrestrials, it would not interfere with his resolve to help residents at the seaside resort."
Politics, it seems to me, for years, or all too long, has been concerned with right or left instead of right or wrong.

Nothing wrong with that,my mother is a red alien and lives in Dover,what a stupid story how can a Labour Cllr have a Green Mother,by the way I met Cllr Parkes last year in Whitby,reminded me of you Chris,Highly intelligent just misguided.lol
If you knew what I know,we would both be in trouble!
