btw those rates of pay in HM's link are actually for Scottish nurses; those for England are lower, and those for Wales and Northern Ireland lower still. Presumably they're higher in Scotland to account for the high levels of Irn-Bru and battered Mars Bars the nurses consume, but I guess RB's relatives over the border could tell us for sure.
