One of the best if not the best spot in Dover in the 1950s I would stand outside selling newspapers.

And Reg who had a old bike he ended up marring a very Rich lady and myself, Saturday was the big day with all the football on the back page then the half-time results would be added on and then the full-time results.I got about 2 bob in todays money that is 10pence per day so at the end of the week I got around ten bob (50p) sometimes more but not much, or less.
