A conducted tour of Roman Dover highlighting significant sites in Dover town centre,followed by a tour of the Roman Painted House, by Dover Archaeologist Brian Philp.

That sounds excellent but I wouldn't have known about it had Howard not posted it on here. I hope there's a good turnout and that this becomes a regular feature of Dover's tourist promotion. Our future is surely in our past!
For those of you who are walkers it sounds like an excellent tour, happened to be listening to radio 4 this afternoon about 3oclock, and John Iveson was giving tour on Dovers history not sure what the program was called though.
