In the 109-year history of the Tour de France, a Brit has never won it. Today's last stage from Rambouillet to the Champs-Élysées sees two Brits start with a commanding lead. Bradley Wiggins and Chris Froome are currently more than six and three minutes respectively ahead of the third placed rider, an Italian.
There is so little hope of a Frenchman coming in the top six that the French popular press have even started rooting for the two Brits, as even the French love a bit of sporting history in the making.
Our two boys have dominated the later stages of the race so comprehensively that some are calling this year's Tour the Promenade des Anglais.
The final stage starts today at 1pm, due to finish around 4.20. Should be worth a watch.
If Bradley Wiggins does win, he's almost guaranteed a knighthood.
