    Brian, taxes on £5.93 an hour are laughable, whether the peopoe are from eastern Europe or Asia.

    But the costs for bemefits, education, NHS and pension (which will come later) by far outweigh the peanuts on tax you can expect from a minimum wage salary.

    The benefits factor goes as much for immigrants who are entitled to them as for British people out of work.

    As I mentioned before, eastern European countries in the EU must be in a sad shape if so many people depend on coming and going to the West to earn money.
