May-be I'm missing something, possibly because I don't judge people by their appearence but sometimes judge actions.
I thought Bob had referred to the rioters, and the word bunny in a racist context is new to me, I've never heard it before.
I thought that "jungle" referred to "urban", in his post, and didn't see any wording in "bunny" as racist.
As said, I've never used the term before in relation to people, so I suppose I might as well call it quits on the topic, and consider that the rioters were looting while the Police stood by. that first night.
It must have shocked many people in Britain!
What I do know is that the riots started when someone insinuated on TV that our Police carried out an action against a man armed with a rifle in the streets of London on racist grounds.
Perhaps the Police should have arrested the perpetrator of the insinuations for incitement on a racist basis and for offensive accusations against the Police.
Perhaps the PC brigade should not have allowed him to utter his incitements on public TV.
Who knows!
